St. Mary’s Christmas Craft Show – Bethel, OH (aarp.org)Liturgical Ministry

Liturgical Ministry

If you’re not already participating in a liturgical ministry–like serving, being a Eucharistic minister, or a lector, for example–we encourage you to prayerfully discern how God might be calling you to worship Him, and assist others in their worship, in our liturgy.
For more information about our liturgical ministries, please contact your parish office.

Bereavement Committee

The members of this Bereavement Committee provide support to the families of parishioners when they have lost a loved one. They offer a luncheon to the parishioner’s family on the day of burial. The committee follows up with the families with support, calls, and cards. There are no monthly meetings to attend. Members are called upon as needed.
Fellow parishioners who would like to lend their support can submit their contact information to Marilyn or Charlotte if you would like to help with this vital parish ministry. When a family experiences a loss, they can contact you to see if you can help with food or other things that might be needed.

St. Peter’s St. Vincent de Paul

The St. Vincent de Paul Society is a ministry of volunteers who administer to the poor in our parish area. Our local Conference at St. Peter was founded in 1969 by Reverend James R. Haley, Howard Link, Joseph Middeler, George Wehman, Joe Graser and Joseph Kelley. We answer calls for assistance that are received on our SVDP help line 513 525-7173. We pray with our neighbors in need, listen to them and provide assistance with rent, utility bills and other basic needs. The work of the St. Vincent de Paul is sustained by the generosity of our parishioners through monthly envelopes included in your packets of church envelopes.

We are part of the St. Martin District which is 21 Conferences strong. The district organizes two major fundraising efforts to help us and the other 20 Conferences. 1) Dare to Care Dash– 5K Run and Health Walk held each June for 30 years. Click here for complete information on “Dare to Care Dash” Home – Dare to Care Dash

2) Vehicle Donation Program – Cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles and other vehicles can be donated through this program by calling 800-322-8284

Please pray for us and our neighbors in need. Please support our work with your donations and if you feel called to, please join us. To volunteer with St. Vincent de Paul, contact Cyn Macke cynmacke@gmail.com or leave a message on our help line. Without your prayers, donations and giving of your time to help us reach out to the poor, St. Peter’s St. Vincent de Paul Conference could not carry out its works.
